Time of day to film notes
Choosing what time of day to film meant that we had to take several factors into account. One of the most obvious being lighting. This was difficult as our group had imagined our opening title sequence to take place late at night,in a dark setting. This would keep true to horror tradition of taking place late/in the dark. Problems associated with this however were our group/crew being available and of course the ability for our cameras to capture quality footage in the dark. We established a time that all our group would be available however when we tested our cameras in the dark, we discovered that they could not in fact pick up very much. To resolve this problem we are going to film early evening so that it is not pitch black dark but still light. When editing the footage we can make it look dark by putting on effects so in the film it still looks like night time and it still has the full horror night time effect. SR
